MP-Desktop Mapping Google Earth
How to use the MP-Desktop Mapping and Google Earth
Google Earth
Any Dataset can be output to Google Earth by simply clicking on the Google Earth icon adjacent to the Dataset. A KML file will be generated and MonitorPro will attempt to open Google Maps if installed on your PC.
In System Options there is also a setting which will simply provide a KML file directly, which you can then share or open with Google Maps Web (or other GIS software supporting KML).
The KML file stores some basic information from the Dataset, providing the user with a summary when loaded.
