Data Entry Barcodes
How to add photos from the field
It's possible to record sample container barcodes using MP-Field. These can either be added manually or they can be scanned using the device's camera.
Depending on the size of the device the Scan Barcode will be along the top menu, or accessed from the 3 dot menu to the right of the top menu (on smaller devices such as phones).
Click on the Scan Barcode within a sample to scan the required bottles. You can scan multiple bottle barcodes for each sample.
Note
The first time MP-Field will prompt the user to authorise access to use the device's camera. Confirm this is OK otherwise, this feature will not be possible.
If a user needs to modify the existing barcodes for a sample click on the Barcodes icon. From here barcodes added in error can be removed. There is also an option to add barcodes manually from this area.
The barcodes will filter through into the Monitoring Schedules, chains of custody which support their inclusion and the eCOC process with ALS.
