Weather Data in MonitorPro

Introduction

Weather data is a common type of data in MonitorPro. It allows clients to compare and validate other data within the system along with direct weather trends and patterns. Typically weather stations are automated to integrate with MonitorPro seamlessly whether this is onsite or with a 3rd party provider. 

Data Collection

Data is often automated. Either utilising MonitorPro's Importer API or using the Email Importer to obtain files. Data can be captured at a range of frequencies as needed.  

Calculation

MonitorPro's calculator offers users a range of options to aggregate and summarise weather data into useable metrics for onward reporting and analysis. 

Reporting

There is dedicated reporting for weather data within MonitorPro including a Wind Rose, which like other graphing can be added to user-configured dashboards.
