Support for MP-Web and MP-Field
Introduction
MP-Web is our browser-based application for a range of users to quickly and easily access their data via Dashboards, Mapping, and Reporting.
MP-Field is an HTML 5, platform-agnostic application, which can be used on all common smartphones and tablets running an up-to-date web browser.
Both applications can therefore be accessed via mobile operating systems such as iOS, Android, and Windows. They are also usable on any PC, laptop, or Mac running an up-to-date web browser.
Supported web browsers include the market share leaders* Google Chrome, Safari, Edge, Internet Explorer 11**, Firefox, and Opera.

Supportability
EHS Data is continually developing and refining our products to keep them secure, responsive, and up to date. New technology rapidly evolves and therefore so do our products to keep current and take advantage of these improvements on offer. That does unfortunately mean older and unsupported hardware and Operating Systems (OS) will no longer be suitable for our applications.
MP-Web and MP-Field supportability is associated with the browser, however, continued browser support by the vendor (Google, Apple, etc.) is generally associated with the underlying OS. If the OS is no longer supported then the browser will likely also stop being updated with patches. We, therefore, follow the same core requirements policy and will not support browsers that are not currently being updated, or not being updated due to the underlying OS being past their respective end of life.
Android
The Android operating system is used extensively over a range of devices. It is continually being updated by Google and older versions are removed from support as they are deprecated.
The link below details the currently supported versions of the Android operating system. Users are recommended to purchase devices and access MP-Web and MP-Field from supported versions of Android. We cannot guarantee versions of Android not supported will continue to offer the latest versions of your chosen browser (typically Chrome).
You can check your version of Chrome from the menu (three dots) and then help.
Note
Samsung devices are very common and will default to internet accessing using their own Samsung Browser. This browser however makes up a very small proportion of browser usage and is not supported by MP-Web and MP-Field. Please add Google Chrome to your device to ensure a suitable user experience.
iOS
iOS is a mobile operating system created and developed by Apple exclusively for its hardware. Across those devices, Apple will continue to support the most recent version of iOS for a period of time until they deprecate it. Once deprecated the specific device will no longer update onto the newer OS as they are released and subsequently applications will also stop being updated, including browsers. If a device is not being supported by Apple and receiving updates then we cannot continue to guarantee the support of MP-Web or MP-Field.
Windows
With Windows 10 Microsoft started focusing on creating an operating system that works on both PCs and tablets. Users can opt to use Edge Microsoft's own browser or install Google Chrome or Firefox.
Note
Windows 10 Mobile has reached its end of life and is no longer supported Windows 10 Mobile End of Life.
