MP-Web Policy Management
How to manage Policies in MP-Web
Policies currently give a broad overview of organisational policies and which obligations relate to the corresponding policies.
From the Control Panel, Object Management and then Policy Management gives access to the setup of Policies.
From here you can first create new Policies from the Add New Policy button. These would typically be high-level company aims and objectives, ‘Carbon Reduction’ for example. Selecting the Policy will enable you to associate it with any associated Business Areas (and create new ones as needed).
From here you can associate these to particular Condition Types (setup via Obligations). This then makes connections between the higher-level Policies and any associated Obligations.
For example, a Policy might be to improve the Air Quality around the company’s installations, with perhaps some specific reduction targets or commitments. There may already be more than one Obligation associated with this type of reduction and conditions associated with its monitoring or reporting. These can be linked, allowing for quick access to see progress against conditions across Obligations which are associated with the common Policy.
