MP-Desktop Data Qualifiers
How to manage Data Qualifiers in MP-Desktop
Data Qualifiers
Data Qualifier codes are used to provide further information about the integrity of a test or analysis. They are often provided by laboratories to explain occurrences such as dilutions or out-of-range/spec samples.
Other examples are where you may define ‘A’ as meaning ‘Value reported is the mean (average) of two or more determinations. Thereafter data imported with a data qualifier of ‘A’ has this additional information stored about it.
The Data Qualifiers form is accessed from two places in the MonitorPro Desktop Control Panel, 'Import Data’ or 'Table Management'.
Once qualifiers have been created, data imported with a ‘Data Qualifier’ or ‘Qualifier’ column can be viewed or reported against this field. Data would be imported using a column in a List file or with a suitable alias.
